Towards the end of play practice one day, it wasn't his time yet to be on stage, so Danny was chillin' in the seats at the back of the theater. Once the cast was told to regroup on the stage, he had the stupidest idea to just sprint down the aisle at full speed. At the last step, Danny sort-of landed funny on his foot. He stopped, sat down and held his ankle for a brief second. To his surprise, it didn't really hurt that much at all.

MS. FERNANDEZ, the play director, calls out suddenly. She is a
woman in her thirties with big, messy hair and colorful clothes.
MS. FERNANDEZ
Alright, everybody on stage!
DANNY
Finally!
DANNY leaps from his seat and sprints full edit speed down the
steps. On the last step, Danny land awkwardly on his left ankle.
He is visibly uncomfortable and reaches down to feel his foot.
STEVEN
(a few steps behind)
You okay Danny?
DANNY
Yeah, I'm fine.
